I can't believe the time has flown by so fast and our baby is now TWO!! We were so lucky to have some family fly out and visit us! Finally! Now that we are stable, they don't have an excuse to not come visit ;) We hadn't seen Justin in forever because of him being in the military, and Clay's parents came, along with Sara - Justin's fiance! We picked them up in Wichita and had a late drive home. Saturday we grabbed donuts and kolaches - some sort of sausage cheese filled pig in a blanket type of food that Clay absolutely loves! We headed out to Clay's project and he showed us around the wind farm.
That afternoon we went and grabbed food for the weekend while the boys and Sara went out and shot clay pigeons with Clay's new gun and then lounged around that night.
Monday was Kort's birthday! He was sleeping in our room, so I couldn't put balloons outside his door so I hung them above him. We opened up presents and had ice cream cake that night, along with all our New Year's Eve junk food :) Kort LOVED the cake!
We usually stay up way past midnight playing Wackee Six, but we were all bums and just watched TV and ate and went to bed early. Fun, huh?! ha ha
New Year's day we headed back to Wichita to drop everyone off. Justin left way early before everyone else so Sara stayed with him until his flight left while the rest of us went out to Texas Roadhouse for dinner! YUM! We sure had a great time having family come visit and really appreciate the effort on their part to make it happen!
